Feature missing or supressed

Hi friends,

I'm designing a mold but, when I regenerated all the components one window appears on the screen that says: ERR: PARENT 21369 OF FEAT 6644 MISSING OR SUPRESSED.

My question is which is the best way to do a search with filters to find the wrong feature and to fix.

Regards

Pablo

Hi Bimbo, Asho is right, but just incase your unsure see pic.... if you click onto the settings Tab above your model tree you are given the options box as per below where you can select from the list of Columns to add into the extra window as shown on the right of my model tree.

Hope it helps you out

You can also use the find tool to search for the feature ID.

That error message is really frustrating, as it could refer to any component or feature anywhere in the assy/ tree. So, it could be a component of a subassy of a subassy or a feature of a component of a subassy of a subassy. That makes digging through the tree tedious.

Think about what changes you made recently. Did you suppress or delete a feature and suspend the children? It's likely one of those features that Pro|E can make an assumption about and still regenerate. Frankly, I wish they'd just fail, it would be easier to find and fix them.
