Features data extraction

hello..

I am planning to use ProToolkit to develop application that can extract features data such as dimension, tolerances, surface finish, maximum x, y and z of the products and etc. I would to ask if there are anyone who have involved in the similar application development and is it a possible application to develop?

Thanks a zillion

syaimak,

Yes this is possible with Pro/TOOLKIT. Most feature treesare accessable and most importantly you can get the data that you are interested in.

??? Is that a joke or something? I'm not sure why I would want to model an air washer with 3 commands... But you have perked my curiosity. Please share with us all how to model an air washer with 3 commands.

i just want to thank<?:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:eek:ffice:smarttags" />s for ur knowledge...i prefer you to ask first rather then wasting time on it..<?:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:eek:ffice:eek:ffice" />

go to part modelling....go to sketcher...draw a circle of required' diameter of air washer....exit sketcher...go to variable section sweep...select circle as a trajectory...go to sketcher..draw a rectangle of required dimension fo washer cross section...go to Tools(Relation)...give formula as...D1=sin(trajpar*360*W)*H where D1 is the height of the rectangle above the horizontal reference..W is the no. of waves...H is the height of the wave.here D1 is the major dimension you have to select in relation in sketcher it may be D3,D2.....anything ..so height of the rectangle above the sketcher you have to give ....just give W=8,H=10-20 to get idea @ H and W. have a smart day...

Thanks....I think. I'm not sure why I wanted that information but it sounds cool. I don't do any modeling. Just programming. Anyone else interested in this info?
