Fexible hose assy in mutiple locations

I have created a flexible hose subassy. It consists of two end fittings assembled to ports and a set length of hose assebled to them using the piping functionality. I can not for the life of me figure out a way to use this same hose subassy in a different place. It would have the same length of hose, and contain the same fittings, but be assembled to different ports. I need to use the same subassy # so that the BOM will reflect the use of 2 of these hose subassemblies. Does anyone have a way to do this? I can not figure out a way to do this by making the subassy flexible.

You have to Copy geometry the different pipe part into one part then make a family table so you have a single routing thenasm the new part in to a the Asm. add the ends then make a simplified rep of each hose.

Most people use two separate assemblies for stuff ike this:

hose_assy_1.asm
--fitting_A.prt
--fitting_B.prt
--hose_part_1.prt

hose_assy_2.asm
--fitting_A.prt
--fitting_B.prt
--hose_part_2.prt

Remember that, even with two different hose assemblies, you can set your drawing BOM table properties togroup the two subassemblies together as long as you arenot using the Pro/Emodel name in thebom table. Most companies I'veworked with usemodel parameters to drive the BOM table (not model names) which makes this possible.
