fill pattern, x - y offset?

puppet

Moderator
i am using a fill pattern.
i have a round table. and am placing some rectangle bricks on it.
i wish to specify a offset in the X and Y plane. but it only lets me put in 1 offset. which it then uses for x and y.

is there a work around? or am i doing something wrong?

I think you should use "dimension pattern" for x-y offset

'fill pattern", x-y dimension is equal

Best regards

Fill pattern and Warp features have been added for attracting new customers. In fact these two commands are not parametric.

Thats why I prefer not to use fill pattern inmy serious work.

I'm using a triangular fill pattern of a hole. This is the first time I've tried to use a fill pattern. I have an external sketch that the pattern is supposed to stay within. However, some of the holes overlap the boundary. Have others had similar experiences?

I tried the same thing triangular fill pattern and got something similar. I also got this with a square pattern. The pattern distances are center-to-center. As long as the centers of the holes stay within the boundary an instance of the hole will show.

I just found what I need.
