Filling a recess - non-symmetrical .prt

Hi Everyone,

Please can anyone help me with another recess problem I have? I have another part which needs the recess filled in. Unfortunately this part isn't symmetrical so I cannot apply the help that I have received previously (copy, mirror, solidify the blue surface).

I've tried a few things but would really appreciate some more help.

i'm not sure why remove tool does not work for your case. is it a surface part?
here's a similar case using remove tool
make sure all the required surfaces are selected using seed and boundary selection.
