Find Weak Dimension

Does anybody know how to find the weak dimension of a feature or model without entering the sketcher??

right clickon the feature from model tree click info then feature. there is a table heading feature dimension. see the image below. this shows that last three dimensions are weak dimension.

What about the model? Can we get all the weak dimensions of all the features at once click?

Simple answer is no......one the points of weak dims is that they do not appear outside the sketch, so you can if you so require leave them in the sketch and they don't affect anything outside of it (ie they are not used in the parametric process)

if you turn off the bloated browsers output.... back to standard inf file


config option...... info_output_format text


then info>model


the inf file will show all dims that are weak

Very easiest is


go to Tools-Program-Show design-edit-search- one dialog box will appear-type weak- If there any weak dimension it will highlight.
