fishmouth pipes

My question is

Is there a way to make the intereference inside an assembly an extrude cut?

Lets say I got a pipe going at 90 degrees at another pipe. The pipe going into it needs a "fishmouth" in order to not interfere. Is there a way for me to select the interfereing pipe and make that an extrude cut?

Thanks mgnt8. However since the pipes I use are hollow I am now left with a piece floating in mid air. Is there a way to make it so it extudes as a solid pipe instead of a hollow one? I read somewhere that you can use variable sweep to do it, but I don't quite understand.
