Flatening IGES surface

Any ideas how to do this - surely somebody must have solved this already? Does it require Pro/SHEET METAL?


The IGES surface is a toriod - curved uniformly in two directions, with a different radius in both directions.

Did you ever get where you want to go with this?

BTW, you probably know this (tho' I think some might not); there's analytic surfaces, bezier surfaces, NURBS surface, etc., but there are no IGES surfaces.
