Hello,
We have abig assembly which includes many small screws (M12, M16 etc.).
We control them by a family table that includes many kind of screws.
In the assembly the screws are assembled to some locations where they are needed and then paternised up to required qty.
For the transportation of the product, it must be disassembled first and the components are placed into some boxes.
I also want to use Proe for classifying items, which component is belong to which box.
Therefore I thought if I create a parameter "box" and in the "model tree", the parameter "box" can be determined for related box number.
It is working pretty good until I want to determine it for the screews (family table).
Forexample:
we have instances of a familly table and arangement is like that,
instance_M12,
patternised qty, 10
located on a flange
parameter "box" = box1
instance_M16,
patternised qty, 20
located on cover flange
parameter "box" = box2
instance_M12,
patternised qty, 15
located on another flange
parameter "box" = box3
.
.
.
.
.
We can achieve this by making part as flexible therefore parameter "box" can be entered in different values for the same parts instances.
However it fails after nearly5 different values are entered. Or sometimes shows
wrong values.
Thank you very much.
