There is one already in the files section. You ca download it.

Is your model a part or assembly?

Why don't you attach it here such that other people can learn from it.

My football model is only one part. But the size is huge, more than 3.7MB. Anybody have a good way to lean it?

sorry for the late reply but I have been away on holiday

The football in the files section is a mess and almost an example of
how not to model parts. It has far too many features and datums. Also
the construction is NOT exact with the patches overlapping which is why
hidden line removal does not work correctly.

I did this as an assembly exercise about 4 years ago in 2000i an ended
up with a much smaller, EXACT model. The hex parts had 9 features and
the pentagon parts had 8 features. Though if I was to redo it it could
drop both by 1 feature.

Doing it as a single part is an interesting exercise though I think in
this case it is inappropriate as an assembly is so much easier to
manage. I can also see the split lines through some of the patches which looks UGLY
