Force reload from disk

Is there any way using Pro/TOOLKIT to force a part to re-load itself from disk even if it's already in memory? I've tried using ProSolidRegenerate with both PRO_REGEN_FORCE_REGEN and PRO_REGEN_UPDATE_INSTS, but they're not doing what I think they should do.

Thanks,

I have part based up on a really old start part from Pro/E 2001. Even though the part no longer has any datum points in it, when I add points to it, it starts at a really high value such as PNT88 even though I specify a name of PNT0 in the feature tree. I can open the part file in notepad and still see up to PNT87 hanging around in the file even though it's not "really" there when opened in Pro/E. It still has a way of affecting the point naming though.

What I'm trying to do is copy over a new start part, give it the same name and the next higher version number and cause it to reload itself from disk so it doesn't have this problem with PNT88.

I've tried erasing the part, but I can't do that because it's in use. I can't programatically close the model before running erase and re-load it because ProWindowCurrentClose doesn't work until I give control back to Pro/E.
