Generic needs regeneration

Hi. We use WF2 for almost a year. I'm having this problem with family tables. If my higher level assembly uses a part with a family table (no matter if it's a generic or instance) when I'm trying to regenerate or save the top assembly (or any lower ones that use the family table part) it asks me to check out, and regenerate the family table part. I have also other parts, which were modeled by someone else, and when I regenerate or save those does not require to be verified. Does anyone know what might be the problem?
