Golf ball

How would you pattern the dimples on a golf ball? Just wondering and it has stumped the group here. Thanks.

Hi Ed, Try doing a search through the forum, as I remember a golf ball thread at some point. There was some pretty cool models if I remember correctly, and the method of creating the perfect golf ball was quite complex.

i tried it out with getting a curve thru helical sweep and then point parttren and the a dimple feature weith ref. to that point and then mrege.


sorry brabant i could not complete the model. but its easy give it a try
