Is there a way to tweak my graphics settings to get rid of this (see picture)? The hole does go all the way through it is just a graphics thing with the corner radius.

'view' -> 'display settings' -> 'model display'


Set edge quality to very high and surface quality to 10


check shade small surface





(sry if it aint the correct terminology, but aint got pro here, I have previous steps in a mapkey to set it to full quality or medium quality)
