"Heal Geometry"

Have been stuck on 2001 mainly because of PTC's misguided removal of DOTF.

Now it's back am looking at moving on and am having difficulty with "heal geometry". In 2001 the dialogue for this is:

Where did "Delete" and "Exclude Surfs" go in WF ????
Please don't confirm my worst fears.
Early impressions about WF 3:

A lot more config files. Layer config, tree config, config.pro, howbout a config to control all the other configs.

Quickly changed default layer settings to remove "layer items" - took me an hour to delete 3 layers with this turned on. Why'd they do this ?? Who really needs it ??

Overall looks more cluttered with the additon of a few more cup holders. Doesn't appear to have any major improvement in functionality over 2001 (and if my fears are realized even less).

[/list]
PTC should have a hard policy of only soliciting users with 2,000 hours minimum for their opinions. Too many changes appear to me to be naive in the extreme.

ti's there under edit... when you click on the import and edit defination

...some under edit and some under geometry

Don't get too used to it because its completely changed in WF 4.0. Better or worse I don't know. I'm still trying to figure it out, something about 'Repair', 'Modify', 'Featurize'.

Finally figured it:

 1.
Activate feature.

Edit definition.

Hit the "modify" button.

Select an entity in the import feature.

Hit delete and the points, curves etc dialogue comes up.

Couldn't find anything in help to explain this.

This is progress ???

... better yet, while in Edit Definition, hit Delete Key right away and the Selection Menu comes right up. Totally upside-down, but it works. Took me a while to figure that out... there goes productivity
