Please don't confirm my worst fears.
Early impressions about WF 3:

<LI>
<DIV align=left>A lot more config files. Layer config, tree config, config.pro, howbout a config to control all the other configs.</DIV>
<LI>
<DIV align=left>Quickly changed default layer settings to remove "layer items" - took me an hour to delete 3 layers with this turned on. Why'd they do this ?? Who really needs it ??</DIV>
<LI>
<DIV align=left>Overall looks more cluttered with the additon of a few more cup holders. Doesn't appear to have any major improvement in functionality over 2001 (and if my fears are realized even less).</DIV></LI>[/list]
PTC should have a hard policy of only soliciting users with 2,000 hours minimum for their opinions. Too many changes appear to me to be naive in the extreme.
