Hi,

Could anyone please provide with the details for Creating an Helical Curve using Datum Curve From EquationsOption.

Expecting an early solution

next time try using the search, on this forum. It's really quiet
good.If you had looked in the forums for previous people asking that
same question you would have found the following :)

make a datum curve via equation and then go for it :)

Helical
Curve

Cylindrical coordinate system

IR='start radius'

OR='final radius'

r=IR + t * (IR-OR)

theta=t * 360 * 'no of turns'

z='height' * t (or pitch * no of turns * t)

4. Helical Curve

Cartesian coordinate system

XOR='final radius'

YOR='final radius'

x = XOR * cos (t * 360 * 'no of turns')

y = YOR * sin (t * 360 * 'no of turns')

z = t * 'height' <br style="">
