hi friends
rencently installed pro/e3 working fine but thats not the problem.
The problem is that is "part file" the color of my model is white any it is not very good looking .So can any one tell me how to change it and any other configuration which needs to be changed .Like after install configuration .
PLz help me out will be gr8 full if i got some help
so plz help me.

White is the default colour of all parts created in Pro/E. You can change the colour by appyling from your colour.map file or appearance.dmt file. Be sure to have these files in your startup directory. There is no option in config.pro to change the default colour of parts. You could create some mapkeys to change the colour of parts for a number of different colours.

You could also make yourself a start part and save that start part as whatever color you want.

Set the colours for parts, surfaces etcusing View, colours and appearances:
