Help w/creating tangent curves

Hello All,

I'm having a lot harder time than I should be having trying to generate a series of tangent curves. Not sure what I am doing wrong. I've done this hundreds of times, but these curves aren't cooperating.

Maybe an extra set of eyes will help out. Here is an image of the curves. This is like a 1/4 of an egg that is wraped around a cylinder. I will eventually mirror this then create a pattern of 4 around the cylinder. I will also attach a file. I'm trying to create a bunch of surface by boundaries that are all tangent, but if the curves aren't tangent, I am screwed.

Help!

Davis,

Thanks for offering input. Although what you created can't match what I was trying to do, it has given me some ideas to move forward.

If anyone else can offer some insight,it would be greatlyappreciated.Part of the problem with this part is guessing what the geometry should look like.

Thanks again,

-Victor
