Help with Boundary Blend

Hi,

i am trying to model a part using boundary blend. i am
almost finished with the part but having difficulties
with top surface. I believe my problem is in my lines
but I am unable to find a quick solution to fix them.
Any help would be appreciated.

Please email me to send proE file.

Thank you!

By the look of the image I assume you mean your tangency between the two surfaces. The shape doesnt look too complicated so check through your initial sketches and mak sure you have tangency, otherwise you may have to build the shape with a few surfaces instead of one BB.

If you mirrored the part (from the looks of it through the green/blue axis plane) then you need to make sure you have the boundary blend be normal to that mirror plane.

you do not have symmetry ... or the boundary condition does not have implied tangency ... or normal across the mirror line. Simply redefine the boundary blend and force the desired constraint as required.

Thank you for all your input. It has been pointed out that
I needed to make the center line normal to the mirror
plane/line. However, my sketch is all messed up, I am in
the process of redefining the lines to build the parts as
suggested to me by Casey Webb whom already sent me an
example file. Thank you all.

I did attach the the original file in case anyone want to
check it out.

I have no idea why it is not working. I uploaded the file
without any error messages. please email me if interested.

Thanks again!

Hi,

That fixed the problem. Thank you so much! I am hoping I
will get used to creating the lines the right way. Almost
all my problems go back to the way I did my sketch. Thanks
again!

Cheers!
