Now i don t have acces to change dimension in DRAWING MODE


WHAT option must set

onto a drawing where i can change the dimension i added a new view for the guest part was i added in sheet


I put some dimension and............ i have tried to modify and .......nothing happens


So I think is some configuration in config.pro NOT in pro.DTL but where??????

It looks like you want to change the tolerance of the dim.


If so set tol_display to yes in the draw.dtl file.

i want to modify nominal value

In the same drawing with two different model for one model i can modify and for another one is impossible

Is NOT in DTL config

must be in config.pro

You need to activate the model that you are changing.

Set model

Add new view guest part

Insert new dimension

Try to change nominal dimension

and ??????????? NOTHING

Reading your last post, you stated "insert new dimension". If this is a "created" dim rather than a "shown" dim the value can not be edited. Created dims are associated to the model and are driven from that model so they can't be edited. If however you change the model and then update the view the created dimension will update.

Are you trying to change a driven dimension or a driver dimension? Dimension that you"insert" in a drawing(driven) can't be changed. Ones that have been "shown" (driver) can be altered.

Try hitting 'CTRL, ALT, DELETE' a few times.

U can't edit the created dimension because there is already a dimension in the model that is driving that particular feature.


So if u change the dim in the shown dim then the driven dim updates.


createddim can't drive the model.

Some was created directlly in assembly some create independentlly

If you use show and erase for dimensioning you can change the value in drawing mode by using dimension properties change the nominal value and regenerate this changes updated in part and assembly



If your dimension manualy created goto dimension properties > dimension text replace D into O and enter your required value but it will not updated in assy & part
