What is the difference between Hiding & suppresingthe feature in the part mode?


What is the difference between Hiding & suppresingthepart in the Assy mode?

well let me be the first one - I assume people waiting for more chalenging questions:)))) :

*hide - this operations blanks, hide the geometry of feature(no possible for solid features), this operation has no impact on model in general

suppress - this operation has almost the same funcionality as delete, expect it does not remove feature from model tree. However it does have an impact on all related features(all children gonna be suppressed either).

In assembly hiding components has no impact on calculated mass. Suppress does have.

Hide simply makes it invisible, but it's still there. Suppress actually takes it away, but remembers where it was so you can put it back (resume) later.
