Hiding Mat’l Info in BOM Table

The parts in the assembly i'm using have a Material specified. The problem i have is that thematerial spec for the individual parts shows up in the BOM on the assembly drawing. i don't want to call out the material on the assembly dwg but when i delete it from the BOM table on the assembly dwg it removes it from the part and idividual part dwg as well. Is there a way to "hide" the material callout on the assembly dwg BOM?

thanks

simply edit the cell and remove Report Parameter, which should be following : ASM > MBR >param>&material

thank you for the info. i selected the cell in row 1 of my BOM table and right clicked to get the pop-up menu. i removed the text but the edit applied to the entire column. i undid the edit and tried to change the cells in that particular column in rows 2,3.... but i get a different menu when i right click on those cells and not able to remove the Report Parameter from the text tab (as the text tab does not appear).

i'm not sure if i'm using the correct terminology, but does this have something to do with the table being a "company template" that i don't have "permission" to change? or maybe the way the original "template" was created?

maybe what I am going to say is well known to You, but:

Your BOM table is for sure Repeat region driven. With that said You are not allowed to "turn on/off" the single cells in single rows. You can however exclude component form BOM table(Filters > Exclude)

For this moment I can imagine two solutions:

*turn off reporting &Material and fill it manualy in desired cells

*make a special parameter in all desired components and call it out in Bom Table instead of original material parameter

You can use advantage of Model tree in assembly mode to insert parameters in desired components or set Modelcheck to handle this.

However it is work around
