Hole Feature Problem

All,

Gotta a problem that is driving me to distraction (and I know that I will use the words 'Well Duh' once someone gives me the answer)

When creating a hole feature (in WF3), I want to be able to drive the feature to a surface (I'm almost 100% certain that you could do this by choosing the Up to Quilt tool on WF2) and just have a feature that goes from one side of the plate to the other, not 6 yards beyond the plate

All help appreciated

Kev

Use the to selected depth option, choose your quilt to use as your depth. Same as it was in WF2. Do not judge the feature by the dynamic preview it gives you.

Bugger........first post was a c**p explanation

That's my problem, when I choose Drill to selected quilt, I then can't select a quilt/surface....nothing highlights for me to select.....

What the hell is going on?

Kev

do you need to query select it possibly, is it buried under other geometry.

maybe selection filter to quilts?
