Hole Note Layer

Hi,


In a part with holes, one of the hole notes doesn't hide whenI hide the Notes layer. I can only assume it is not on the notes layer. I cannot see the note in the Layer Tree but I can select it on the screen. How do I move it to the noteslayer?

Ifigured it out. I had toright-click the layer name in the tree, select layer properties, then select the note to include it.


Why was thsidefault item missing from thelayer in the first place?


Why couldn't I add it to the layer by right clicking the note feature and selecting properties?


Why did I have to go through this convoluted approach?

You can setup the Layer by rules which will add notes to it automatically. For hole notes in the rule editor for the layer look for notes by Type and the search criteria comparison - is equal to and value - Feature.
