Hole placement

Hi,



I am having a problem with hole placement. Whenever I use a linear hole placment

and for the second reference I want to use a plane and a hole already created (with

parallel axis) just for one direction, as soon as I click on the axis, the dimension from

the plane is gone and I have two dimensions from the hole ( with align and offset option).



I appriciate your help.

Sorry, Kara.... I messed with it some.



If what you described is really, truly your design intent, the only way
I could make it work was to make a datum plane through the first
hole's axis, parallel some appropriate reference.



Then I'd place my second hole with respect to the new plane.
