Hole tables and Patterns

We have customised holes tables for tapped holes.

Can you change the holes table associated to a pattern of tapped holes and get the system gennerated note to change.

The only way I can see of doing it just now is to delete the pattern, change the tapped hole to a standard hole, when you change it back to a tapped hole again set the new hole table and recreate the pattern, which is very long winded

There must be an easier way, is there??

You can change the Annotation manually either in the drawing or in the part's model tree if you have notes displayed.

I described how to do this in another forum check the following link.

About Using Hole Notes

"&PARAM_NAME"VALUE-S
---------------------------------------------------------
"METRIC_SIZE"&nbsp ;6-32, 10-24 etc.
"THREAD_SERIES"UNC, UNF, ISO
"THREAD_CLASS"2B
"STD_HOLE_TYPE"TAP, CLEAR
"VAR_THREAD"#?# IF BLIND, OR " " IF THRU
"THREAD_DEPTH"VALUE OR "THRU"
"NUMBER_SIZE"DRILL NUMBER
"DIAMETER"&n bsp;DRILL DIA.
"VAR_DEPTH"& nbsp;#?# IF BLIND, OR " " IF THRU
"DRILL_DEPTH"VALUE OR "THRU"
"PATTERN_NO"# NUMBER OF HOLES IN PATTERN, or 1

Hope this helps.
I used to do all my hole patterns as reference patterns because Pro/E gives you more freedom for Redefining the Holes that are patterned.

Thanks Michael, that works a treat

It would be nice if you could just reapply the hole table file, but this is a good solution
