How doI turn off the text that appears when I create a hole?

You could also pull out the 3D notes icon from tools->customize screen, this might be helpful if you routinely want to hide and unhide the hold notes.

Easy way to hide hole note text and keep it hidden.

Either show annotations in the model tree using the model tree filter settings right click the the Note_# and select erase. Or select Annotations from the selection toolbar, pick the note and right click and erase.

Then the note will be hidden no matter what Environment or Config options a user has.

Also if you want to see the note at any time you can choose to show it and edit the &parameters before going into the drawing because this has to be done at part level.
