hole through surface

hola forum!

I built a 4 sided boundary surface, then solidified it to the rest of the part. I then put a hole through the part, but the corner of the surface i built that should have been removed by the hole remains. I tried TRIM but it only removes some. Any Ideas?

the hole is thru all, it cuts the solid no problem but does not cut the boundary surface, perhaps you cannot cut boundary surfaces? I hid the surface and everything looks cool, but I'm a rookie to surfaces so that still may be a probrem

You created the solid, but the surfaces still remain that you used to create the solid. It's ok, just hide the surfaces and don't forget to save the layer status (wf2.0) so that when you load the part up they don't re-appear.
