holes, ext .-vs- rev. -vs- hole feature

age old dilema. It is so easy to model holes sketched as ext. cuts, So of course the modeler did just that. Of course now it needs detailed and checkers expect to see drill points.

So, would you replace all the extruded holes,(which have many downstream references)? -with Revolved Cuts? With Sketched Holes?

Would you revolve JUST a drill point at the end of each hole.

Just want your opinion. because I'm frustrated. I have A LOT OF HOLES TO DO.

P.S. I am jhonny-come-lately-to-save-the-day-and-get-this-out-the-door . I am not the modeler or the origional detailer-

Since you have a lot of downstream references, I would probably just revolve a drill point at the end of each hole. You can probably make a UDF that would let you pop them in quickly. But for new holes, I like a revolved cut any day.
