how calculate mass of part in proe wild fire4 or 5..i know
how can use the mass properties command
goto
MASS PROPERTIES, ENTER MATERIAL DENSITY, SLESCT CORDINAT
SYSTEM.
but it doesn't work. how can i do?? is not showing accurate
weight of the parts...i don no why ..maybe some units i
have to set or what ...can u plzzz guide me

After you complete the basic information related to material density, you need to select ANALYSIS, MODEL, MASS PROPERTIES and select the eye-glass icon to view the results.

thanks for reply
yes
After i complete the basic information related to material
density, you need to select ANALYSIS, MODEL, MASS
PROPERTIES and select the eye-glass icon to view the
results.but
in results value is not corrected.
for example i put density of PA66. IS 1.2
resulted value is showing 5.144...ton or g or kg.
& part mass property value should be above 55.0 grm.
i dont not what mistak i m doing or there is some more
value or some wrong value i put..:(

You need to figure out the unit used for density.. for
metric models I would guess its kg/mm^3

So for PA66 with a density of 1.2 g/cm^3 you need to
tell ProE your density is 1.2e-6 Kg/mm^3 (0.0000012
Kg/mm^3)

Did you set up the units system of the model under EDIT/SETUP/UNITS ?
If not, do it and then regenerate the model (CTRL+G) before weighting it again.
