How can I import images into planes

Hello


First of all I am so glad i have found this forum I have been inspired by the work that I have seen on here!

I have been reading posts on here admiring the images that you can produce. I have seen that it is possible to import a sketch or image onto a plane to give reference for the part.

It is mentioned Rahmanalam's TT thread that CP gave a link but I have been unable to find this.<?:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:eek:ffice:eek:ffice" /><O:p></O:p>


I would very much like help to know how this is done.

The images of the above picture are from Style (ISDX)


If you don't have Style you can create a flat surface on a datum plane then map a jpeg onto that surface using the Color and Appearance option.
