How can I create a cut with the two surfaces
highlighted in yellow?

Your drawing is hard to decipher without more views but try sweeping a cut along a trajectory.

If those are closed do a edit solidify, but I don't think that's what your looking for.


Could you upload the model, like Hacks mentioned it is hard to see.


It looks like you have a flat surface with and arc on it and another surface that looks like a copy of tha same surface.

I understand- I try to pan/move in Word and Excel!

I think its a 4 boundary surface with one of the boundaries being
curved. You can use edit solidify or if not in WF you can use
tweak>replace I think. Its been awhile since I used 2001.
