Hey every one.
My problem is in drawing mode ill insert a surface finish like 16, 32, 63 or what ever. But when I open the part the surface symbol shows up (like 3d notes), and in the sub assembly and top level assembly, by then there

They are not on Layer? In my case Layer "ALL_SFIN" in created by ProE.

So, all I need to do is to make the apropriate layerhidden (usually "ALL_SFIN").

thanks uros

I looked but the layer didnt exist, magnusod, surgested creating the layer this way whitch worked.

go to config.pro create: option:def_layer value:LAYER_SFINSURF_FIN (make shure to save!)

all surfish symbols you create after that show up on the SURF_FIN layer. but is there a way to update the symbols created before the config.pro change?

also if you hide the symbol in part and it hides in drawing, the option to turn that off is, drawing option "ignore_model_layer_status" set to yes.
