Can anyone help me in flattening pipes, curves on a 2-D surface so that i can have an actual layout with actual dimensions?????

i am using PRO/E 2001

Pro/E is baffling!!!

Start by creating a Variable Section Sweep.

Draw a trajectory and maybe 4 outer lines to use as the section paths.

Draw a circle to start with then end it with an ellipse or a rectangle with full rounds

on either end.

Ya, but that is if i want to make a new Pipe like structure. But, right now i am having that pipe structure sent to me by my customer. I have to flatten it (It is a sort of cable routing shown using pipes), i have to flatten the routing on 2-d plane and have to take all dimensions. and Make a 2-d drawing out of it.

i think that you should look the threads better before you start a new one
