How many section we can use in Swept blen

Is there a restriction on the number of sections? I have used upto 4. only ensure that the number of vertices should be the same. This is as far as I can remember.
 
As far as I know, minimum 2 sections are needed to create a swept blend and there is no limitations on number of sections after that.

i have used atleast 10... dont think id ever require more
