How to create a curve from external file?

Well you can import in sketch your picture and then use spline to crate geometry but this will not bee the right geometry. It is better to construct geometry of wing.

But If you need only to show graphic model then its OK to redraw sketch by your image.

POKLOP,

You can create a datum curve "From File". If you are creating a wing, consult the following website for Airfoils:

http://www.aae.uiuc.edu/m-selig/ads/coord_database.html

You can save the DAT file in Notepad as an IBL file and will import into ProE nicely.

Below is a sample of the wing tip for a P51-D Mustang. Make sure you have the header statements in your IBL file or it will not work.
