Megladon: While your model is simple, I don't think it really captures the true intent of the design.
Rmatija: Your model is where I am headed, although the bottom of mine is different than yours. Refer to the original drawing and look at the end view. I am working on a model that will be similar in construction to yours, but like they say there are many ways to get from A to B in Pro/E. As soon as I finish it I'll post it.
Well here is my attempt. There are a few areas that would need tweeking as they are not really defined by the drawing. Also there are a couple of spots where tangency needs to be better defined for a smoother surface.
Just a quick and dirty model, but the basics are there. The top and bottom surface of the soap may be more than simple extrudes, but the rest of the features should be similar.
True while it is just a bar of soap, it is a good opportunity to use and expand your surface modeling techniques which in turn makes you a better modeler.
if 1 of these guys could design a bar with grips on the side or change the material properties so that if dropped it bounces back up the world would become a much safer place
