how to model a metal strip for mechanism

Hi All,


I am creating aflat metal strip that I want to be able to flex in mechanism. One end is riveted to a stationary partand the other end fits into a slot on a moving part. The movable part is assembled with a slider connection. I want the metal strip to flex as the movable part goes thru its full range of motion. Can this be done with mechanism? I don't have BMX.

I don't think there's a way to make it flex in real time as it were, you'll have to stop and regen to see the effect. However, it is possible to make an animation of this but linking this series of snapshots.
