How to model this draft?

Hi


I'm trying to model this tool.

As you can see it has a draft feature where indicated so I thought I could simply use the draft feature. This however is not working as I expected.

as you can see "Draft" is not one of my strong point but you live and learn.

And here I was going to suggest you re-model the whole thing using surfacing, building in the drafts manually!
