How to obtain the moment of inertia

How to obtain the moment of inertia or the radii of gyration in a sketched section (or surface) about one specific axis?

Example:

Having a
 
Hi Napoleon,


Create a new coordinate system and locate it in the position and angles where you have your reference axis.


Choose "Analysis / Model Mass Properties".


For 'Coordinate System', uncheck 'Use default' and select your newly created coordinate system.


Calculations are now done referenced to you own coordinate system.

I was doing a diferent approch butyour is the more direct one.


I thought that Pro/e had a similar waylike "mechanical desktop" to do this calculation, (just picking up the axis you need)
