How to Upload Image of Model

New@ProE

New member
Would like to include an Image of model with a question for the Forum...How can I attach an image of the part in question and keep it small? Last time I uploaded an Image it was huge?

Any help would be appreciated!

See the little button in the post reply area with the camera and arrow.....that's the one

Kev

PS To keep it small, save it as apng file.....View attachment 3216

PPS What I should have said was, screen dump what you want to post and put into Powerpoint. To keep the PNG file size small, get rid of as much around the part you want to show as possible and keep the colour to a minimum

Sorry, my edit was a bit slow

Portable Network Graphics format (one of the save options from Powerpoint)

do a apt-printscreen

open paintbrush...paste

the crop what you want ..select all ..delete...repaste the new cropped image ..

rescale the border.. the white border ..to fit image...save a jpg

it's like proe with out all the done click..one step
smiley2.gif

You can also goto photobucket.com and follow the directions to host an image, that way it wont be limited to 50kb.

another thing regarding what you get with alt-printscreen

if you make the graphics screen active then alt-printscreen..that what you get

click on the model tree..same thing image of model screen so on and so forth

Here use ImageShack:

http://imageshack.us/index.php

just upload your image there, on ImageShack, you have options for resizing, and also options for forums, you can then easily chose code for posting here on forum.

It is really easy just read instructions on page.
