Hi,

To use a jpeg image in proe you need to have ISDX or Interactive Surface Design Extension or Style feature(all means the same).

If you have the same the follow the following steps.

1.Insert<style

2. styling<set active plane<and click on the plane you want to put the jpeg image.

3. styling<trace sketch.(here you can see 3 eye's click on any eye it will give you an option to import jpeg image).

use that as the reference and start building the feature.

Hi,

ISDX is a seperate module which you have to purchase seperately. it comes along with flex advantage(a packaged module which is sold by ptc) or flex 3c(a high end package). If you are having only foundation advantage package(Basic package then you will have to purchase ISDX if you have the license of isdx then click on insert<style you will be taken into a exiting world of freeform surfacing option.

If you havent got ISDX then you could always create a surface on a datum plane and render the surface with the jpeg.

Of course having ISDX is better and alot easier but it might help.
