How to use sketches created in sketcher

Hello All,

I'm a brand new Pro/E user, so forgive me if this is a stupid question, but I created a sketch file (.sec) in the sketcher mode, and I now want to use that file to create a new part (via extruding), but when I go to File->New->Part, it opens up a new window in Part Mode, and there doesn't appear to be a way to import the .sec file I just created in sketcher mode?

I tried Insert->Extrude, and played around with the "Placement->Define" option, as well as some other things, but so far, all I seem to be able to do is create a new sketch in Part mode. So what was the point of me creating a seperate .sec file in sketcher mode if I cannot insert it, or use it in Part mode?

Please help, thanks!
