Human Skull - Model Request

[-Skint-]

New member
Hey guys,

I am looking to find a 1-1 scale model of a Human Skull. Does anybody have anything or know where I can get one ?

The models online seem to cost quite a bit, such as : http://www.3dscience.com/3D_Models/Human_Anatomy/Skeletal/Hu man_Skull.php

I have been asked by a friend to model one for a website he is making, it is only for fun really so I do not want to pay for the model..especially not $700

I do not have the Style feature, and I am not good enough at surfaces to attemp such a model even if I had all the relevant detailed info to construct it.

Can anyone help ?

Hey Skint, I have some facial Models from my medical device days. I'll have a look later (they're zipped up on my server) and see whats there.

Paddy, fantastic, thanks for your help.

I cant believe how difficult it is to find skull models for free download, i expected to see lots of them.

Hope the weather in Ireland is better than it is in the UK ? When is it going to STOP raining !!

Hey azskymaster...

Thats a brilliant start for me, thank you. Its not exactly the skull that I am after, but if all else fails I may be able to use that head model tocreate a basic skull that may do the job.

Really appreciateyour help

I am going to use it for my table tennis simulation, anyone know how to simulate a ball projectile given the angle, velocity?

You can work it out easily enough? You need to take into account drag on the ball. Don't forget, if it wasn't for air friction or gravity, that ball would continue at the angle and velocity you gave it. So you can easily work out the trajectory of it. Assuming you know the drag coefficient. But this this will not be linear.
