i cant preview drawings

Using Pro 2001, i cant preview drawings when selecting a file to open

.. altho i can preview drawings created on other seats of Pro...


Is there a config setting i have missed ??

Yep, there is such config setting.


Set the config option save_drawing_picture_file to embed instead of the default no.
Open the drawing, save it again and you'll have your preview functionality.


Those other drawings that your mentioned are probably saved when this setting was active.

Also you can preview using productview express. Productview Express automatically installs after you select a model form the borwser.

In Wildfire 2.0, the config options are found under Tools, OPTIONS. It may be in the same place for 2000i2.

parameter I thought it was about making a jpeg or something of the
drawing.

but i couldnt find that "tool"menu itself in 2000i2 to find options.


is it not available in lower versions of proe or what? cananyone clarify this?

In 2000i2 you will find the configyou seek under "Utilities/Preferences"

, then you can add the config line.
