Dont agree, have absolutely no need at all to show this information on a drawing. Why? With a data management system its useless information, since the system keeps track of the files for you.

Other thing, it looks like you have a space in one of the directory names, that may cause the problem.

Pro|E has been pretty space tolerant for some time now. I have seen it cause problems, but it's been a long time.

I think that config option only sets the display for the model info screen and the window title bar.

I have to agree with ankarl, this is of limited value. Many Pro|E users are using Intrlink or Windchill to manage their data and don't need this info. For those not using data management, files can get moved anywhere outside of Pro|E. Any note placed on a drawing and printed or saved to PDF would only be a snapshot of that moment. The file could be moved anywhere after that drawing was created.

I haven't seen the 'space tolerance' improving at all in Pro/E (remember, it is NOT a Windows application, it is Unix running in a Windows environment), but Pro/E isn't the only software that has trouble with spaces in pathnames: Unix servers are common, so they have the same issues. Since I'm used to the space issue (35 years so far) , I just deal with it.

Amazing what you can do if you spend twenty five years developing a
virtual drafting board, huh?

No, it says: "in the window title and Model Info display".

It's not clear to me if you mean model or drawing, but I guess it doesn't
matter. Either way I would probably just create a parameter to reference
and paste in the path string when I save the object.

If I wanted to (and I know nothing about) automate further I'd ask around
about using ModelCHECK, J-Link, maybe restricted parameters.
