I want to use table pattern but..........

I want to use table pattern but the reference option is
not available.
i have a fin that needs to be added to (pins) a current
table pattern, and i have been told to select: press
pattern and use reference, however the reference option
is blacked out

What are you using for references?The references you use should be part of the pattern for the pin.

The references I'm refering to are the feature references for the fin. In order to use the reference option when using the pattern feature the references you chose for the fin should have been patterned along with the pin. So what I'm trying to find out is how did you create the fin feature and what references did you use to create it?
