Hi Guys

We have had a large fabrication measured by a laser measuring machine. the results are now in an Excel spreadsheet. I now need to import this data and created a cloud of points offset from the default coordinate system. I am using wildfire 3 and i have never imoprted data from excel like this before, can anyone give me any good tips on how to proceed

many thanks

Richard

in offset coordiate sysytem you have an option called update values. go in, a notepad file will open capy your point data in excel and paste it in notepad file, save & exit. your point data will appear in datum point table
