When trying to import a DWG file onto my part (graphical illustration of what is to be laser etched) my graphics come in all tweaked? Is there a setting to control how a DWG file is imported?

Any help is appreciated!

Hi,

Is it a true type font you are using? If so i would copy the ttf in the proe/text folder and recreate it in Pro engineer. (www.dafont.com)

If not try when importing to set the block option on and all those convert to options off. (sry i aint got pro on this pc, so i forgot the options

If is just text you want to create, and have font you wish your text to be in then just go to sketch, there you have tool called Create Text As a part of section, write your text, add high, add font you wish and thats it.

Note: If you wish to use windows fonts like Times New Roman. etc. then in config.pro set option pro_font_dir to C:\WINDOWS\Fonts (default), then you be able to use all fonts that are within windows.
