Importing .jpeg or.bmp files

Hi all

Is it possible to import a jpeg, bmp, or some other image into
sketcher to be as the support of a sketch? If so, how is this done?

I don't believe so. I believe it would have to be at least a vector type graphic (eg Adobe Illustrator file) rather than raster as jpeg and bmp. However, depending on what you are trying to do, you may be able to get the results you need using a raster to vector graphics conversion software.

You can insert picture on datum plane then make a sketch on this plane.

Try toinsert style feature Insert ->Style... Then Styling -> Trace Sketch...

Click '+' on the panel and choose the picture. Then set location of your picture by tuning horizontal and vertical position and scale also. Probably your need to insert some references before it.

Nowyou can make your sketch on that plane with picture.

I hope it willhelp you...
